The year isn't over yet and I've read 131 books. Some people ask me to narrow that down to my favorites I've read this year. So here is a list of my favorites from authors that were new to me this year:

Fantasy/Science-Fiction:

1. Rysa Walker’s Timebound series - A series of super fun time traveling stories.

2. Blake Crouch, Dark Matter - A sci-fi thriller that plays with the idea of the multi-verse and a big twist.

3. Tom Reynolds’ Meta series - Just some fun, light, superhero stories.

4. Tim Pratt, Heirs of Grace - A fun fantasy story featuring a magical house full of magical things, and a strong female leading character.

5. William Goldman, The Princess Bride - Does this one really need explanation?

C. S. Lewis related:

6. Diana Pavlac Glyer, Bandersnatch: C. S. Lewis, J. R. R. Tolkien and the Creative Collaboration of the Inklings

7. Abigail Santamaria, Joy: Poet, Seeker, and the Woman Who Captivated C. S. Lewis

Faith/Theology/Biblical Studies:
8. Mike McHargue, Finding God in the Waves: How I Lost My Faith and Found It Again Through Science

9. Richard Beck, Reviving Old Scratch: Demons and the Devil for Doubters and the Disenchanted

10. Sandra L. Richter, The Epic of Eden: A Christian Entry Into the Old Testament
